BUMPERDOC began in 1999 with a van and a vision of providing retail plastic bumper repair services to the general public. Providing high-quality work at affordable prices, we grew rapidly and soon needed another van. We began to offer interior repair and paintless dent repair services, and soon recognized the large unmet demand for a full-service retail provider of automotive reconditioning services.
Just as outpatient health clinics provided an important service, allowing patients to receive minor surgery without the time and cost expense of going to a hospital, we recognized that auto reconditioning centers were the future of minor auto body repair, allowing customers to save the time and cost expense of going to a large dealership or major collision repair facility.

BUMPERDOC opened the doors to our first retail shop in San Diego, California in 2004, and quickly expanded into our state of the art, 5000+ square foot facility in central San Diego, allowing us to add traditional minor collision repair services in response to customer demand. Our list of offerings continues to grow, as we expand to meet our customers’ demand for a single location to provide a complete range of reconditioning services.
Our professional team has also grown, and we are proud to have several master technicians with many decades of combined experience. We are also proud of our positive work environment created by mutual respect and a strong work ethic.
